Not knowing your situation, I can only say that whoever disinvited you is thoughtless (and very last minute!) and also that their party will be the poorer for it.
What are you going to do? I am going to make sinfully rich macaroni and cheese and watch movies or write fanfic, depending on my mood.
I first read this as 'I just got injured at a New Year's party that I wasn't going to go to...' which would be even more sucky. (Time travel and all you get is injured?!)
But whoever uninvited you is obviously mega-stupid as well as rude, since they've doomed their party as well as their year! New Year's here will be as always: on the sofa with loud noise of some sort (probably DVD/telly) trying to drown out the dog-terrifying fireworks. In PJs, of course!

I just don't get how someone can have the cheek to uninvite someone they previously invited. I reckon that you are better off not having anything to do with people who are so disorganised and thoughtless!
The whole concept of 'uninviting' someone just boggles me. Either you invite them or you don't... this is just giving you a Very Loud Sign that you're better off without either person or party.
