Further Travel Plans

Just so that you all can share in what my friend KP refers to as "vicarious travel excitement," here's what I've planned so far. A week in London - I'm booked for 17th to 24th. Then 2 days in Canterbury (it's that Chaucer blogge, set me thinking...). Then I think maybe Colchester and Norwich, but I still haven't heard back from one set of rellies, so the last part may change, we'll see. Anyway, for those thinking of meeting up for an LJ-fest in London, I have concert and theatre tickets booked for the 19th and the 23rd respectively, but otherwise am free and clear. Listen to me... "concert and theatre tickets booked" WHEEEEE!!!! (I'm so excited) And my passport arrived today. So IT'S HAPPENING!!!!

Yay!

It looks like the 20th or 21st might work for a meetup?

What theatre/concert are you going to?

I'm going to see Judy Dench in "Hay Fever" and the London Philharmonic doing Mozart and Haydn symphonies and a Schumann violin concerto :) Neat, eh?

20th would certainly work for me as a meet-up date. I guess you must be coming to Canterbury after I've gone to the US, which is a shame as it's only twenty miles away. Never mind, there is London.

The 20th sounds fine! Bother - it would have been nice to meet you in Canterbury, but I've booked my place in London for a week and I think C deserves more than a day trip...We'll have to wave at eachother on passing trains :)

Not bad at all. Dame Judi is always wonderful, and better on teh live stage than on film or TV IMO.

Have a wonderful time ~ and don't forget the frequent flier miles! Oh .. there's some sort of discount travel card that you can only get while still in the states that I keep regretting not having; you might want to ask AAA or your travel agent.
