Step AWAY from the computer!
I just looked up and saw the sun beginning to go down. I've been at my computer (my new Mac) all day, but it's been a productive one. I've been getting myself set up with the things I need on this computer, and have now got OpenOffice and Gimpshop (thanks to ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
alasenr for the tip about the latter) and have been trying them out. I also managed to get outgoing email by dint of downloading Thunderbird. Inexplicably, Apple Mail won't send mail - I tried everything (that took most of the morning) and can't see what could be stopping it from working. I've got my Flickr apps working, and my delicious bookmarks - almost all the things I need to be a happy little geeky person.
