Hilarious! I love Ian McKellen. What was the context for the video? Where they trying to mess with the auditioning guy? Or was that just a skit or whatever?

I get the impression that there's a series on British TV with these skits featuring very famous people and Ricky Gervaise. From the comments on YouTube, this is one of the best.

It's a comedy series called "Extras". Ricky Gervais plays a struggling extra desperate to get a speaking part - though by the second series he had become a minor celebrity due to starring in a dire sitcom. In each half hour episode, there's a major guest star, who always appears as a very unflattering version of themselves. It's very funny, but very cringeworthy and often hard to watch.

I think Daniel Radcliffe's appearance was my favourite.

Heh. Yes, that was quite good, though I think I appreciated Diana Rigg's appearance even more than Daniel's in that!

Yep. The Diana Rigg moment is the bit I love in this. I tried to find a clip that isolated that scene and missed out all the rest of his stuff, but couldn't find one.

I liked the Patrick Stewart and David Bowie ones too. :) But I like Ricky Gervais in all of them!
