Thanks for the link - did you follow the link to the article about Iris Murdoch? It's really about the film about her, but it does contain an arresting vignette of her and her husband being moved to tears by Star Trek.

I absolutely loved that--it was so perfect--the Gorey-isation of the Star Trek crew (Uhura in the other room in disgrace; the corpse with only boots visible; the line about being a member of the medical profession and not some other profession--totally Win.)

The artist should do it for other shows, novels, etc.--I see lots of possibilities.

I like the departing leg in the first frame with Uhura - meant, I think, to be Gorey himself in his fur coat and high tops.
