Good Things

Without being Pollyanna-ish, I should report the following things that have been considerably cheering over the last couple of days:

The sun has been shining and the temperature has been mild.

lidocafe suggested having lunch, which is a very nice idea. Virtual relationships are all very well, but RL contact is nice, too.

I have arranged to team-teach a course on Ulysses with one of the nicest, coolest and best teachers in the department. This won't happen for about six years but is something to look forward to. It will be the best course EVAH.

The new DWJ arrived from Amazon.

I've had a couple of very good classes on Never Let Me Go

Absolutely not least, superfoo gave me a lovely card and letter which was a wonderful affirmation not just of teaching but of who I am and where I am in my life and everything. Thank you!
