Just a quick note...
... to say I'm in my delightful little room at the Kennard Hotel in Bath, making myself a nice cup of tea which I shall have biscuits with, the ones supplied in my room.
It's HOT. This is unexpected. That's all I have to say on that subject.
Flight over was delightful - no turbulence, window seat with lovely view the whole way. Train ride from Gatwick was scenic, including very nostalgic trip through Surrey, even stopping in my old home-town, Guildford.
I have good internet access!! I still have pictures to post from Venice, and now I'm going to be exploring Bath for the next couple of days. More later, probably.
