Post walk photo-op

Here's my Cholmondely in his towelling "dog bag" - a wonderful invention, from England of course, that lets me zip them up, leave them for a while, and they come out dry! What you can't see is that Chums also has a heating pad at his back (one of those ones you do in the microwave). Old dog's prerogative. Robinson, out of the picture, is curled up in his bag in a corner near the door. He likes being there and won't go in a dog-bed. He'd like to be on the sofa, but that is forbidden.

Our old dog loved a heating pad - she'd stop walking around and whining and trying to climb into your lap and fall promptly asleep instead...

Wow, I wish someone would take care of me like that! What lucky pups :)

When I want my two to dry, I put them in a wire crate in front of the gas fireplace. Then I take them to the grooming set-up for a proper blow dry and brush out. Aren't our beardies spoiled!
