yes, she has bags of it. Plus, she's mobile, has a car, and apart from this recent illness there's not much the matter with her. She could have got out more and made more of a social network for herself. Oh, and she's a veteran, so there's a whole system of benefits that kicks in for her through them.
She's being assessed today by someone from public health to see if she needs home care and to see about veteran's benefits, so I'm going to phone her this evening and see what that has turned up.
