I would be delighted to give you a rose, or a whole bunch of roses for S for her birthday (not being like the Beast...) Now of course I'll be on tenterhooks worried that there won't be one that's just perfect; but there are lots right now and there should be at least one somewhere in my garden for S on Wednesday.
Vanilla Cafe has salad, but tends to be crowded. And I agree about La Collina. I'm not terribly keen on Mexican. Oh dear. Well, I'm sure we can think of something - I suppose there's always 5th St.
