Didn't it say in the report that the squirrel leaves the wrappers and toys for the store to clean up?
This has been my experience as a mother with kinder eggs, by the way. Kids think the eggs are special because they have toys inside, but next thing you know, foil wrap is everywhere and itty bitty toys are broken or discarded and just waiting for an unsuspecting foot to come down upon their unforgiving plastic. Damn you, Kinder!
