With this one if you really WANT to be PC and bi, and have done some experimentation, you move dramatically toward center :-) Likewise if you have been rigorously marching down one path or another based on a preset collection of social norms (religious, for example), you will pull dramatically toward hetero or homo (I have friends with gay parents who have tried desperately to be homo only to discover several years later that it's just not really their thing! weird). For me past, present and world-view all converge in about the same place, so the 2.9 wasn't a big shock.

Now, design of experiments/surveys theory states that you shouldn't ever give a score that falls in the exact middle if you wish to get a result that shows preference to one side or the other of the curve. Ergo, this survey has a fundamental design flaw *vbeg*
