Oh Debbie, I'm so, so, so sorry. I teared up just now looking at this. I wish I could give you a giant and lengthy hug right now. He is a gorgeous dog, and very blessed to have a sensitive & caring owner dedicated to him. There are too many pets that have neglectful owners these days; you are one of the best.

I have no good words of my own, but I'm so sorry for your loss and I wish you all possible peace and comfort as you grieve.

I just read this, and I'm so sorry. I lost my beloved cat, Min, two years ago, after 18 years together, so I have some idea of how awful it is. The awfulness lasts, too, as all grief does, longer than you expect, and longer than most acquaintances and colleagues think is reasonable.
