"Lost" fans increase sales of Flann O'Brien:

According to the BBC News, a fleeting appearance of a copy of The Third Policeman in the show "Lost" has caused sales of the book to skyrocket. A writer for the series is quoted as saying that the placement was significant; those of us who have in fact read the book to the end may think this gives credence to one of those theories about what's actually going on on the island... or not... it may just be them playing with our heads...
