Because everyone's doing it...

Walking West

Anyone with quiet pace who
walks a grey road in the West
may hear a badger underground where
in deep flint another time is

Caught by flint and held forever,
the quiet pace of God stopped still.
Anyone who listens walks on
time that dogs him single file,

To mountains that are far from people,
the face of the land gone grey like flint.
Badgers dig their little lives there,
quiet paced the land lies gaunt,

The railroad dies by a yellow depot,
town falls away toward a muddy creek.
Badger-grey, the sod goes under
a river of wind, a hawk on a stick.

Macbeth Wars Lightsaber Battle
"Macbeth Wars Lightsaber Battle" on Google Video
This is the climactic lightsaber battle between Macbeth and Duncan in a grade 12 English production of Macbeth done in Star Wars style. It's amazing. The students say very modestly in their intro that it's "very rough" because it was their first ever movie and they shot it in only 5 hours. My god. I'd like to see what they could do if they had real time and money!! You can also find the full-length "movie" on Google Video - it's well worth your time, and don't be put off by the opening scenes: they are meant as a joke. It really gets going about half a minute in.
