I just realized I didn't post last night. I meant to, but am still fighting this whatever-it-is I've been fighting for over a week, the primary symptom of which seems to be exhaustion. Monday night I went to bed at 8:30pm, slept for 10 hours and still dragged myself around all day yesterday as if I had chains tied to my limbs. I hardly remember _going_ to bed last night, but I must have done, because I woke up in it, and the dishes are done and the dogs haven't peed on the floor. I woke up rather too early this morning, but at least I do feel like I have a little bit of energy in my body.

Busy day today, though - student conferences for about five hours, with a break for lunch in the middle.

Neil Gaiman has just won another award for The Graveyard Book. What next? The Booker? The Pulitzer Prize? The Nobel? I mean, he's a lovely man, and TGB was a nice book, but, come on, honestly, all you readers out there, there ARE other books and other authors...
