I had to do a similar desperate search last summer after my daughter took a bite of a flower. I didn't know what it was called to search for edibility/toxicity. I just knew that it looked like phlox but wasn't.
Fortunately, dame's rocket is edible. It's an invasive species, but it's definitely edible.
