I actually do like this version, for David Bowie :) And because it's such a laid-back take on the song, without the excessive drumminess of more upbeat/pop versions.

That is a very nice version of it. :) I usually hate listening to Christmas music, because I can't stand the pop-y/jazzy/swing-beat versions you hear on the radio. They aggravate me. But I like this.

I like this version.

Though Little Drummer Boy is also one of the few "popular" carols that I like. It sounds like music.

Bing Crosby was one of my Dad's favourite singers and I grew up with his songs on old vinyl 78s. *g*

That's a great clip of him with David Bowie and I do like that version of Little Drummer boy, though I also like it in the very simple folky version we did at our carol service at school.
