Three Years Ago Today...

Sometimes it seems like yesterday. Sometimes it feels like a lifetime.

I'll never stop missing her.

I'm so sorry.

My sympathies. No, the missing never stops. It does seem to get easier to live with, eventually; more sweet and less bitter.

I can only imagine how you feel. My mom is my best friend. The idea of losing her makes me cry, and she's still here now. But I know she won't be here always. And I just don't know how I'm going to be able to do this without her when she's gone. She's all that holds me up sometimes.

I'm so, so sorry for your loss.

As [livejournal.com profile] ellarien says, you won't ever stop missing your mother, but I can also testify that the pain does get easier to live with.

*Sends sympathetic thoughts*

Sympathies.
So many things I still wish I could tell or share with my mother.

This is one of the most beautiful tributes I've ever seen. The fact that you went to this trouble to capture such an image and post this up speaks volumes about your love.

Your love for your mother makes *me* love her--and you. Love is like that.

Of course not - how could you. You can move on with your life, but it's forever changed. At least she knew you loved her, and she is always in your memories.

What a beautiful picture. It shows your mom in one of those idyylic moments that are available to us all in the everyday; it shows your connection to your mom manifested and symbolized by gardening; it shows the now and the then, how simultaneous they are in the heart.

What a blessing it was that you had her and that she had you.
