That's true, though I live in a part of the country where it snows about once a year, if that, and we're not all madly cross-country skiing to work every day. But point taken. And we at least _have_ mountains and places where our athletes can go to train. Our athletes haven't had money to support them, though, until the 2010 announcement; now there's all kinds of government support, which does seem to be showing signs of paying off at these games.
