Someone must have heard all the whimpering and, yes, cursing, from out here on the West Coast. Yesterday was cooler, and today is cooler still. I slept last night, the best sleep I've had for about a week. I'm not sure how long this happy state of affairs will last, though - they are threatening higher temperatures again in a few days.
And just when I should be out walking the dog or doing something constructive in the garden, I have to sit at home and wait for a parcel to arrive: my wine glasses from Venice. They arrived yesterday, of course, when I was out, and I don't want to miss them again. I can't wait to see them, and will post pictures when I get them.
And I'm feeling a bit guilty about this, but - I just bought a new MacBook Pro. It will be delivered next week. SQEEEEEEE.
