Hey, I also used to smoke for 20 years! And that swine flu was terrible. But the "quit smoking" material that I read said that ten years after you quit, your risk of cancer drops almost to the level of people who never smoked. Not that anyone is ever immune, but if you really truly quit, the positive health effects are very dramatic.
OK, if you have read something else that is much more depressing, you can go ahead and post it and burst my bubble, but I hope you haven't.
