No - believe it or not, just a fast shutter speed. If he looks like he's flying backwards, he was. I caught him on his way _out_ of the feeder rather than on his way in :)
They are such spectacular little aviators, aren't they? And yes, it's another spectacular shot.
I'm hoping to see some hummingbirds this summer. Several of the varieties of flowers I'm trying to start from seed are supposed to be favorites of theirs.
Last year, I sacrificed most of my strawberry crop to the Baltimore orioles. How could I turn them away?
