My friends kp and mkb and I were having a giggle yesterday about the failed literary pretensions of someone on Lavalife. mkb peruses Lavalife relatively seriously (she takes the being single and finding a date thing as a challenge) and apparently the other day got a "smile" from someone who called himself "prufrock" (!) Obviously he aims to impress, without realizing that anyone who actually KNOWS the source would know that Prufrock was a balding middle-aged guy who waffled ineffectually... As kp suggested, he should be slapped with a wet mermaid :)
