Traditionally, we've tried to put our lights up around Dec. 1st, or in the first week. That's when most people seem to. The ones that have them up in November worry me a little. The tree usually goes up midway through the month, maybe as early as the 10th.
Those dates, though, are slowly getting pushed back. I guess since we're not kids anymore, it's not as big a deal as it once was :) But I still like Christmas, and I can't help but get a little excited when Christmas lights start popping up. I wish we had Christmas lights up year-round. So much prettier than drab houses in the dark. :)
