I like all the "arrrr's" and "me hearties" popping up all over the place.

A couple of piratical things observed today: Flickr has a skull and crossbones on their logo. (I am surprised that the Google main site has not done anything today). Wordsmith.org's word of the day is "grog."

YArrR! But where did those obnoxious pirates from the Camosun Homepage go? Removed a few days to soon. Speaking of... where the HECK did "talk like a pirate day" come from anyway? Did some net-nerd make that up just to see how fast word would get out? LMAO!

There's a rather good explanation of the origin of pirate day here (http://sartorias.livejournal.com/220652.html) (no, I didn't do the research - she's on my flist). And the pirates on the homepage couldn't walk the plank too soon as far as I'm concerned!
