I've had my paper proposal accepted for this conference. In San Francisco! In March!! I am chuffed (except that now I have to sit down and actually write the damn thing).

The conference looks like a whole lot of fun, too.

Although it seems fairly focussed, to me, it feels purposely vague, so that I can fill in whatever I turn up in my researches. But this will give you the general idea.
