Ooh, fun! Several are familiar, but the only ones I can pin down right now are:

5. The Princess Bride

8. Say Anything

Correct on both counts!

6 is "The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", but none of the others ring particular bells...
Friday, February 8th, 2008 03:32 am (UTC)
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is one of my all-time favorites too, and would probably win for best allusion in the title as well.
Thursday, February 7th, 2008 06:58 pm (UTC)
7 is The Great Escape
15 might be Jurassic Park or Aliens
Thursday, February 7th, 2008 07:00 pm (UTC)
7 is correct :)
Thursday, February 7th, 2008 07:03 pm (UTC)
PS - 15 is neither of those.

Bull Durham was one of the sexiest romantic comedies ever.
Thursday, February 7th, 2008 08:19 pm (UTC)
Oh! Oh! Number 2: Star Wars!
Thursday, February 7th, 2008 08:22 pm (UTC)
YES :)

I see Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (3), Charade (10--one of Sarah's favorites), and Fargo (9--the word snippy was the giveaway). The romantic one sounds very familiar but I can't call it to mind, and kudos on quoting the BEST line from Say Anything. I love the way Cusack delivers that speech.
Thursday, February 7th, 2008 11:17 pm (UTC)
hahaha. I thought you would know most of them :) I'm surprised you didn't get 14, though I deliberately chose a difficult quote. You are, of course, absolutely right on the ones you've guessed.

Is it Breakfast at Tiffany's? Probably not, because you don't really like that movie, do you? Is it Sabrina? Could there be two Audrey Hepburn quotations in the same meme?

Ohohoh! Roman Holiday! (Shame on me, we even own a copy of that.)

Right . . . because she's a princess . . . right . . . and she's used to big rooms . . . right . . . and he's a paltry (but incredibly handsome) reporter . . . right? Is that right?
Friday, February 8th, 2008 04:05 am (UTC)
Yes :) hee. Gotta be one of the most romantic movies... evah.

I had to do this in my own LJ.
