Woah! The Bourne Ultimatum just won best Film Editing. So what happened to the theory that the winner of Best Picture always wins Film Editing??
But, by all accounts, it deserved it.

Maybe . . . I grabbed 30 years (1971-2001) and during that time, best editing and best film matched 13 times, so less than half . . .

Interesting. So much for all the pundits who said that 9 times out 10 the film that won for editing also won the best picture :)
