My new MacBook, having appeared to languish in Ontario all day yesterday, in fact ate its Wheaties, reached Richmond last night and is... as we speak... in a UPS truck somewhere in Victoria driving toward its destination!

And Treason's Shore arrived yesterday (Amazon.ca always amazes me with its speed). I'm almost finished King's Shield, but will have to wait a little bit to start in on the next one because another book I had a hold on at the library has arrived, too, and I need to read that first. But it's nice to have an embarrassment of bookie goodness.

What is it - the watched-for package never comes? Mac has still not come (he must have gone off whale-watching or something). I'm sure that if I'd gone out this morning they would have come and gone leaving a "we were here, nya nya nya" note on the door.

The package left the depot at 8:17 this morning. Victoria's not really that big a place...

It came.

Now I can take my poor dog for a walk, and when I get home... hee.

It must have flown across the country - I'm amazed, considering I got free shipping. So, despite my having to sit home all day, I'm v. happy.
