... and Cleaning

I forgot to mention that on Saturday I not only got rid of my mum's wheelchair, I cleaned my oven. This has got to be one of the most horrible but ultimately the most rewarding of household chores. Horrible because of the catch-in-your-throat fumes from even the "non-fume" oven cleaner and because of the slimy brown muck that comes off after the cleaner has done its work. But there can be few things more impressive than a shiny clean oven.

And it's likely to stay that way pretty much now since I don't really use it often any more, what with my "Miss Brill" toaster oven and all.

I'm also washing down the insides of cupboards and almost anything that shows its face as I clear things out. It's all very satisfying.
