Seen all over (are we just a bunch of exhibitionists??)
Take a picture of yourself right now. Don’t change your clothes. Don’t fix your hair. Just take a picture. Post that picture with no editing. (Except maybe to get the image size down to something reasonable. Don’t go posting an eight megapixel image.) Include these instructions.
owlfish prompted me to try using PhotoBooth - that application has always terrified me (who wants to sit at the computer looking at a full sized picture of yourself, warts and all!). I also remind you that here it is the middle of the night, so you are looking at an insomniac, in tatty t-shirt night wear :)

Within two weeks of getting my computer, along with PhotoBooth, I found myself alone in Texas in a hotel room with a fabulous hairdo on my head that needed to be photographed from behind and no tripod. It was the perfect application for photographing the back of my head. Only later did I realize how much fun it is to photograph things Pointalistically (and various other special effects.)
I also just realized that apparently I post a self-portrait on LJ every 2 years. The only other ones I could remember posting turned out to be from 2004 and 2006, so I guess I was due for it?

Self-portraits are supposed to be my self-imposed photography challenge at the moment, but I'm not doing very well with them. :)

I've followed your Flickr photostream, so your face is pleasantly familiar :-)

Forgive me? I didn't mean to imply that you were Ms Posts Self Portraits Queen or anything like that, truly!

Annnyway... it's a super photo. And the dog in your drawing has a similar expression on his face, same warm smile :-)
