Happy New Year

2005 was definitely the year of photography for me. The purchase of my Canon Rebel XT DSLR and the subsequent discovery of Flickr has re-energized an interest that I've pursued all my adult life, but only recently with such confidence and joy. It's been a lifeline in many ways, as have this journal and the contacts I make in these two fora.

Wishing all my LJ friends a peaceful 2006 filled with the rewards of friendship, love, pleasures (whatever they may be) and hopefully laughter.
