Hee

I suppose it's unkind to laugh.

And I guess it was kind of asking for trouble to leave the bathroom door open.

But still.

LoL.

Perhaps she likes to swim?

Generally one can gauge this by how fast the kitten exits the water. Something approaching atmospheric escape velocity is not unusual.

Most cats prefer not to, I know :-) But I did have one who liked water.

I know. Padmini was paddling in the bath this morning as the water was draining. There are photographs but I haven't had a chance to upload them yet.

It happens to every kitten at some point, unless one has no bath. Nothing looks sadder (or skinnier) than a wet cat, but it's hard not to chuckle.

She zoomed out, but then came back when the bath was draining. I had bubbles, too, which obviously made it all the more fascinating.

She looked miserable, but protested about being towelled off almost as much as about being wet. I guess she didn't like having her fur rubbed the wrong way. Robinson likes being towelled, and we always make it a cuddle time.

lol

This reminds of the song by Echo's Children, I Meant to Do That (http://www.echoschildren.org/CDlyrics/IMeantToDoThat.html):

My kitty chases shadows, as her instincts demand
And sometimes the excitement gets a bit out of hand
She'll ramble and she'll scramble and she'll fly through the air
To pile on the tile at the foot of the stair.

(She says)
I meant to do that, I'll have it be known
I did it on purpose, for plans of my own,
Since you're just a human and I am a cat,
I thought I ought to mention that I meant to do that.

Obviously, a new stanza should be added. :D
