I've agreed to write a review of a proposal and sample chapters of a new writing text (for money). The deadline is the 19th, which I can easily meet, and, in fact, I'd been planning to work on it this weekend. Today, there's an email from the publisher offering me $100 bonus if I get it in by Monday at 8:00 am.

I say do it as long as you're not afraid to be glib.
I have done those and they ask such odd questions sometimes.
Because they have given me the questions to answer, I always feel entitled to just blather out answers and then I am done and I wait for my money.
Remember, the faster you write it, the higher the hourly wage you are earning.
Although come to think of it no one has offered me one to do this year, so maybe I was too glib and blathering! Or more likely it's that the American publishers are all melting down in the economic crisis.
Good luck!
