Those are really pretty. We didn't dare bring back any of the glassware we really liked from Venice, and were too cheap to have it shipped. And there is so much ugly tat we didn't look too hard.
Enjoy your glasses - don't hide them away unused. If they break, you'll just have to go back for more. ;-)
The advantage of staying longer is being able to go further afield to find things. I got these from the factory on Murano (I should blog more fully about the experience...) There is a lot of ugly tat, you're right, especially in the main tourist areas.
