I just spent so much money on a single pair of shoes that I almost feel ashamed. Almost. But they are - oh - so comfortable. And they have claims to be therapeutic in ways that could be really beneficial to me (hips! lower back! knees!) I could actually see myself buying a pair of their sandals next spring/summer and possibly the nice little ankle boot that looks a bit like Blundtstones, for leisure and dog-walking wear...

I know what you mean about the looks, but these ones actually look quite "normal" on. I originally was attracted to the ankle boot ones (in the sidebar of the one I linked to above), but they didn't have any in stock and suggested I try these ones just to try. I was looking for something to wear for work, but that I could walk in, because my old ones were letting in water. When I put them on, I was instantly sold. They feel amazing, and my posture and gait was immediately improved. I'm having some arthritic niggles in my OTHER hip (the one I didn't get replaced), so if these shoes help, they would be worth the price. And I may still get the ankle boots, if these ones live up to the hype.
