Neil Gaiman has just won another award for The Graveyard Book. What next? The Booker? The Pulitzer Prize? The Nobel? I mean, he's a lovely man, and TGB was a nice book, but, come on, honestly, all you readers out there, there ARE other books and other authors...

Thanks, Lady Schrapnell, for the keen observation that I am barking.

But I'm afraid I must correct all of you. For I, James Kennedy, won the Newbery from Neil Gaiman fair and square. I tackled him at the ALA conference and wrestled it away from him; then I bested Mr. Gaiman in a series of mental and physical trials, thus proving the legitimacy of my claim.

Video and photographic proof here:

Thank you. Please modify your lives accordingly.

Hahaha thank you for dropping by! And I've always suspected that Neil Gaiman's work was bee-written. I'm sure that analysis of line lengths and number of syllables will demonstrate that mystical numbers of significance to bees are embedded in the texts and that it will spell out a message of hope and solidarity to all bees in the world (transmitted via the audio versions of Gaiman's books).

Finally, someone who understands me.
