Did you ever try the "Alexandria" site? You could input all the books you liked, and it would come up with suggestions for further reading... Amazon does that too (usually recommending all the books by one author that I've already read!)

Well, this site seems to be a rather more sophisticated and interesting variation. You tell them an artist or song that you like, and they create an "internet radio station" specially for you, based on your input. So far, it has worked very well for me, and looks set fair to make some interesting suggestions for new listening.

Dammit - you have to register for more and they require a US Zip Code.

Here's one: 02155
I just used my cousin's old address...

Why not?

Whenever a site requires a US zip code, I just use 90210 ;)

Hee hee. That's enterprising, and somehow appropriate! At least it works - I just went to check the new feature on the ABC site, where they have streaming versions of some of their TV shows (hoping I'd be able to catch the conclusion of Alias later if my VCR decided to have PMS or somthing), and you can't even click on the "on" button if you're not in the US. Don't know quite how they detect that in your IP address, but they must be able to...

Thank you. I feel no compunction in doing this!

I'm clearly a moral vacuum.
