I believe it, though tje percentage might even be a little higher. When we lived up in Vanderhoof, moose were a common sight on the road, even if you weren't hitting one, swerving to miss them (because unless you were in a heavy 4x4 truck, the moose stood a better chance of holding its ground than most cars) would be another frequent cause of accidents.
