Heh, well, actually, Cholmondeley (pronounced, of course, the British way, Chumley) just seemed like a good name for a Beardie. It came to me when I knew I was getting him and was thinking about what would be a good name. Ditto Robinson - I had weeks to think of a name for him, as I met him when he was seven days old (he was a planned puppy, so to speak). There is a series of children's books about a teddy bear called Teddy Robinson, which might have been at the back of my mind, because Beardie puppies look a lot like Gund toys.
