Today I found that I had twenty-five pictures in "Explore" - "Explore," for non-flickr-ites, is a page on which the site tracks the 500 most "interesting" photos in Flickr on any given day. "Interestingness" is measured in some way by how many views you've had, how many comments, by whom, and how many "faves." You can knock yourself out of Explore by posting your photo to too many groups or ones that force comments, or whatever. Twenty-five is the most I've ever had, so I'm dead chuffed.

Twenty Five!

Congratulations! Other than the beardie ones, which are all great, I especially like the ladybug :)

Well done you! Some great photos there (and you can tell I'm a golden pheasant fan!)

Thank you! And, yes, I'd noticed your icon :) I got my shot at Kew Gardens last year, on a visit to the UK.

I confess that I didn't take my own photo; never having had my camera with me while getting a good enough look at one.

Good work. Love the chapel one especially.
