no subject
Unix system administration mostly. For a federal government dept. Not quite the stereotypical BOFH though - most of my "users" are database people or developers so I am mostly removed from any 1st level support. And my manager and direct teammates are all database administrators, so I sometimes get lumped in to being one of those, or something get into discussions with my teammates that the same security rules they want to impose elsewhere also really apply to them, and stuff like that.
Also despite (or because of) my job there are days that I just absolutely hate computers and days in which I think every single OS or software invented is completely broken.
