My bf the Crown Prosecutor informs me cheerily that so many roofers are criminals that their occupation is a standing joke in Provincial court. Oh good. I won't open the safe anywhere where they can seem me, then... But seriously, she advises that it's a good idea NOT to leave the deck door open for the dogs when I go out, at least for the nonce, as petty thievery is their crime of choice.

Looks as if I shan't have to put up with this minor inconvenience for much longer - they've done over half of it already. Sheesh. I hope my neighbours didn't pay too much... (miaouw)
