My bf the Crown Prosecutor informs me cheerily that so many roofers are criminals that their occupation is a standing joke in Provincial court. Oh good. I won't open the safe anywhere where they can seem me, then... But seriously, she advises that it's a good idea NOT to leave the deck door open for the dogs when I go out, at least for the nonce, as petty thievery is their crime of choice.

I had no idea about this--I figured it was a stereotype, so I ignored it. Kinda like how all djs are stoners.

I think that falls into the category of not mattering greatly, but if you read carefully, you'll see that I refer to her as "she," so work it out for yourself...
