island view misty landscape

Fellow Flickr-ites will know what this means. I'm excited, because it's my first Explore photo since January.

It also confirms my statement in my last post about the west coast of BC being pretty much the most beautiful place on earth.

It looks like you assembled it from painstakingly cut construction paper.

(I am going to be living near you? How cool is that?!)

Very cool! Vancouver is about 3 hours away by bus and ferry from me, but I have friends there and am likely to be over :) Also, you'd be welcome to come and visit in Victoria!

I have a question--what's a good cellphone provider in BC? Tmobile doesn't do Canada, though it looks like I'll have roaming in Vancouver, but having a local Canadian phone would probably be a good idea, and I have no idea where to start looking.

How do you know when your picture has been on Explore? I've got a Flickr account, but I'm still new to it and haven't posted many photos yet and don't suppose I've had any show up on Explore. Your study in blue is captivating!

Sometimes people will tell you in their comments that they saw your shot in Explore. Or you can go to "Scout" - http://www.bighugelabs.com/flickr/scout.php and type in your username and it will tell you :)

And thank you :)

That is really a stunning picture. I'm not surprised it got recognized!
